(Rick Chatenever, The Maui News)
Hawaiian legends and “pidgin pride”, comic characters and poignant monologues—Kathy reveals the people of Hawai’i in stories that have universal appeal. A regular fixture at O‘ahu’s annual Talk Story Festival and a keynote presenter at the 2009 National Storytelling Conference, she has been awarded a Hawaii Music Award for Comedy Album.
