Henry Kapono is a performer who has it all – vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, composer, thrilling performer, audience favorite—and multiple honors and awards, including a Grammy nomination and induction into the Grammy Museum. Henry has been at the creative forefront of contemporary Hawaiian music throughout his career – from the laid-back island rock of Cecilio & Kapono in the 1970s and 80s, to launching his solo career that produced 17 albums and a world-wide fan base, to his groundbreaking collaborations that fused the power of Hawaiian traditions with driving rock rhythms and a soundtrack for the new century.
He has taken home 14 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (Hawaii's “Grammy”) including Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement. Known as "Kapono", the Hawaiian word for righteous, Henry is pure Hawaiian, born and raised just outside Waikiki. He continues to break new ground with his collaborations – Grammy-nominated The Wild Hawaiian in 2006, combining driving rock and slam poetry with Hawaiian chant; Rough Riders in 2015, celebrating Hawai’i’s cowboys (paniolo); Henry Kapono & Friends concert series, bringing Hawai'i's top talents together in fun & unique collaborations. He is also the author of the award winning children's book, A Beautiful Hawaiian Day, has appeared in films, and has made many television appearances.
Henry is one of the most popular and highest-selling local recording musicians of all times and is equally known for his community support and philanthropic endeavors. Henry is also a successful author, actor & music producer and Henry’s company Kapono Inc., is one of Hawaii’s top Entertainment management and concert production companies.
Hawaii Music Award Winner, Johhny Valentine, has spent most of his life entertaining in the heart of Waikiki. From shows to nightclubs, including part of Hawaii’s beloved “The Love Notes” variety group that first put his nephew, Bruno Mars, on stage, Johnny has become known as Hawai‘i’s most versatile Entertainer.
Born and raised on the island of O'ahu, singer/songwriter, Blayne Asing started playing 'ukulele at the age of 8 and guitar by the age of 9. Blayne is self-taught “by having a good ear for learning and watching You Tube videos”. In addition to playing a variety of instruments, Blayne is a prolific songwriter with a distinctive voice complemented by his own unique country/folk/island style. Releasing his 1st album in 2015 at the age of 27, Blayne won “Most Promising Artist” at the 2016 “Hoku” (Hawaii’s Grammy’s) awards and again for Single of the Year in 2017!
